The bimetallic barrel adopts centrifugal casting technology, which is to cast a layer of 2-3mm wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant and high-temperature-resistant alloy on the inner wall of the barrel. Its effective service life is greatly improved compared with ordinary nitriding barrels, which can be increased by more than 2 times or more. Bimetal has more obvious advantages in processing special plastics to improve the abrasion life, such as engineering plastics, fluorine plastics, PPO, and etc.

The screw barrel produced by ZY Screw has high and uniform hardness in the whole alloy layer from 2mm to 3mm.
